AWEA Small & Community Wind 2009 - Detroit
The American Wind Energy Association Small and Community Wind in Detroit was the first AWEA national conference with a primary focus on small wind. The event was a major success and a milestone for small wind in the U.S. The conference was important not only because it served as a unique forum for small wind manufacturers, dealers and others in the small wind industry, but it also served as public recognition of the important and increasingly larger role that small wind is playing in our country and economy.
Jeff Duiguid (right), is an Aerostar dealer who helped us in our booth.
The show was a great success for us and the small wind industry in general. The show included conferences covering everything from installation 101 to wind turbine certification. We were pleased to see many of our dealers at the show. We were very busy at our booth and we would like to thank some of our dealers for helping man the booth, particularly Jeff Duiguid of Moyer Process and Control who spent many hours talking with prospective customers and others. If you attended, we are sure you will agree with us that the show was a very important event for small wind. The next Small and Community Wind Conference & Exhibition will be in Portland, OR December 2010.
As you can see, Aerostar had a great booth, right at the corner of two aisles.
