Aerostar Wind Group
Aerostar is in the process of establishing Franchised Aerostar Wind Group installers for our Indepencence series of wind systems. These installers are independent contractors who provide sales and installations under the guidance of the parent Aerostar Wind Group organization. Because the Independence turbines are much larger than typical home sized machines, they tend to be more complex, require a greater financial investment, and have substantially higher loads. Because of these factors, careful installation and siting are more important than for smaller systems.
Some small wind companies rely on relatively untrained dealers who may not have the resources and equipment necessary to insure the highest possible quality installations. To avoid these issues, Aerostar decided to establish the Aerostar Wind Group. The partent Aerostar Wind Goup organization franchises local wind groups to provide sales, installation and service at the local level. The Wind Groups are trained by the Parent Aerostar Wind Group which works closely with Aerostar to establish quality control and supervision of installation and service of Aerostar products.
By working with the Aerostar Wind Group, buyers of our Indepencence wind systems will have the following benefits.
1. Aerostar Wind Group personnel are trained by Aerostar and the parent Aerostar Wind Group.
2. Before a system is sold or installed, the installation must be reviewed and approved by the parent Aerostar Wind Group. This draws on the experience and resources of the Wind Group staff and helps to insure that siting and equipment are optimized for the particular location.
3. Aerostar works closely with the local Aerostar Wind Group to ensure that installations meet or exceeds the high standards imposed by Aerostar.
4. Aerostar Wind Groups are required to be trained and kept up to date on the latest developments and technology, customers are assured that they will have the best possible service.
Wind Groups are not Aerostar agents or employees, but independent contractors located in the U.S. However, because of the nature of the franchise agreement, the parent Wind Group is able to exercise considerable control at the local level to ensure quality installations and service.
